Tent Talk #2: Fundamentals of Proper Plant Research.

What sets General Hydroponics Research and Development apart? In addition to bringing together an expert team with a diverse array of talents under one roof, we also test all of our products on a wide variety of plant genera, under the most stringent of parameters, this ensures all of our nutrients and products meet the highest of standards.

Proper plant research consists of the three "R's".

Replication:  The larger the sample size, the greater the confidence we have in our results.

Repetition:  One trial may yield an interesting result; the hallmark of good research is can we duplicate our results every time?

Randomization:  The environment shapes everything around us.  This is especially true of immobile plants-- even in a controlled setting-- microclimates can and will occur.  We can correct for this by randomizing our samples temporally.
