RapidStart®

RapidStart® is a rooting supplement designed for the earliest stages of growth—seedlings, cuttings, and young transplants. It’s formulated to support fast, dense root initiation and a healthy root architecture, helping plants establish quickly so vegetative growth can take off. Use it as a targeted additive alongside your base nutrients.

RapidStart® supports fast, dense root initiation and helps build a healthy root architecture. It helps plants establish quickly so vegetative growth can take off.

Use from propagation through early vegetative growth. Add to diluted nutrient solution according to the label, then check pH and EC before feeding.

Early root development sets the pace for the rest of the crop. RapidStart® helps young plants establish strong roots, recover after transplanting, and prepare for vigorous vegetative growth.

Usage Guide

RapidStart — How to Use

● When: From propagation through early veg; many growers continue at a reduced
rate during veg after strong roots are established.
● How: Add RapidStart® to your mixed nutrient solution (do not add to undiluted
concentrates). Stir/agitate and verify pH/EC.
● Where: Works across systems—hydroponics, coco/soilless, and container
gardens. Follow label rates and your facility SOPs.

Grower Benefits

RapidStart — Key Benefits

● Supports rapid root initiation in cuttings/starts.
● Helps plants establish quickly after transplant.
● Encourages a dense, fibrous root zone to set the stage for vigorous vegetative
growth.
● Plug-and-play: integrates cleanly with your base program without complicating
mixing.
Feed Charts (Where RapidStart® fits)
Per your program image, RapidStart® is listed as a supplement in both families:
● FloraNova® programs: 1-Part, 4-Part, 8-Part (supplement lane)
● FloraSeries® programs: 3-Part, 6-Part, 10-Part (supplement lane)
Tip: Dose RapidStart® during propagation → early veg alongside your base;
transition off once root mass is established to free supplement budget for
mid/late-stage goals.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the shelf life, storage limits, and warranty conditions of RapidStart®?

Unopened RapidStart® has a shelf life of approximately 2 years when stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Do not store it in areas where average temperatures fall below 40 °F, and never allow the liquid to freeze. It includes a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase ensuring conformity to label specs.

What is the correct mixing protocol when adding RapidStart® to a reservoir?

RapidStart® is a concentrated additive and must only be mixed into a diluted nutrient solution. Always add your base nutrients to fresh water first, stir thoroughly, then add RapidStart® at the recommended rate, followed by other supplements. Never mix RapidStart® directly with other concentrated liquids.

Is RapidStart® compatible with cloning systems and different growing substrates?

Yes. RapidStart® is highly effective for fresh cuttings in cloning machines (aeroponic/hydroponic cloners) and propagation trays. It is fully compatible across hydroponics, coco coir, soilless mixes, and traditional potting soils.

When should cultivators apply RapidStart®, and when should they transition off?

RapidStart® should be applied continuously from propagation/rooting through early vegetative growth. Once a dense, healthy root mass is visible and the vegetative frame is fully established, growers typically taper off or discontinue its use to save supplement budget for flowering additives.

How does a dense root system established by RapidStart® benefit the plant's growth?

Developing a highly branched, fibrous root zone early on dramatically increases a young plant's surface area, allowing it to absorb water and nutrients much more efficiently. This rapid establishment minimizes transplant shock and sets the stage for explosive vegetative canopy growth.

What is RapidStart® and what is its primary objective in a feeding schedule?

RapidStart® is a premium rooting supplement formulated specifically for the earliest, most sensitive phases of plant growth —namely seedlings, cuttings, and young transplants. Its primary objective is to support fast, dense root initiation and establish a robust, fibrous root zone architecture.
