FloraKleen® should be stored in its original container, sealed, upright, and in a cool, dry place out of extreme temperatures. Unopened bottles carry an expected shelf life of approximately 2 years. Once opened, it performs best if used within one growing season. It is backed by a 1-year warranty guaranteeing conformity to label specifications.

Yes, FloraKleen® is highly versatile and engineered to be safe for active hydroponic setups, soilless mixes (such as coco coir and peat), and traditional potting soils. It works cleanly in both active recirculating systems and drain-to-waste setups.

FloraKleen® must always be run as a standalone solution without any base nutrients added. Adding fertilizers to a FloraKleen® flush defeats the purpose of clearing the media. Simply mix FloraKleen® into fresh water, run it through your substrate, drain the system, and then refill with fresh nutrients (if mid-cycle) or plain water (if harvesting).

If your system has experienced severe neglect or heavy salt crusting, you can scale up the standard rates safely: Standard/General Flush: Mix 5 mL per liter of water (approximately 19 mL per gallon). Aggressive/Heavy Buildup Flush: Scale up to 10 mL per liter of water (approximately 38 mL per gallon). ◦

For a clean pre-harvest finish, drain your old nutrient reservoir completely and refill it with fresh, plain water. Add FloraKleen® at a rate of 2 teaspoons per gallon (approximately 10 mL/gal) and circulate the solution through your system during the final 1 to 2 days before harvest to flush excess salts out of the plant's root zone.

To keep lines flowing and prevent media salinity spikes, apply 1 to 2 teaspoons per gallon (approximately 5 to 10 mL/gal) of FloraKleen® in fresh water. Run this solution completely through your irrigation lines or drench your container media until you get thorough runoff, then resume your normal nutrient feeding program.
