FloraNova® Grow

Keep FloraNova Grow stored tightly sealed, upright, in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Unopened containers maintain full potency for approximately 2 years. Once opened, the product performs best if used within a single growing season. General Hydroponics warrants the product to conform to label specifications at the time of purchase for 1 year, though misuse, mishandling, or improper storage voids this warranty.

FloraNova Grow utilizes a specialized nitrogen-forward (N-forward) balance tailored for rapidly growing plants. It feeds to build exceptionally strong roots, encourages structural and foliar (leaf and stem) development, and provides the primary and secondary mineral foundation needed to establish a heavy plant framework capable of supporting heavy reproductive yields in bloom.

To maintain stable nutrient delivery and prevent pathogen risks, keep your reservoir solution temperature under 75 °F (24 °C). Perform a complete nutrient solution change every 7 to 10 days, maintain a working pH range of 5.5 to 6.5, and keep the reservoir aerated. Be sure to top off the reservoir with fresh water between complete changes

Because FloraNova Grow is exceptionally concentrated, a very small amount is required. The typical working rate is 3 to 8 mL per gallon of fresh water, depending on the size of your plants and whether your facility is running a light, medium, or aggressive feed program. You should always follow the official FloraNova feed charts and adjust final strength based on direct plant response.

The FloraNova series is formulated to be used one part at a time. However, during the transition week into flowering, General Hydroponics guidelines note that you can run half-strength Grow and half-strength Bloom together to equal a single full-strength solution to soften the nutritional shift for sensitive cultivars.

FloraNova Grow is engineered specifically for the vegetative and structural phases of development. You should apply it from the seedling/cutting stage all the way through structural growth. Once the crop transitions and you see the first signs of flower initiation or flower set, you should switch the feed program to FloraNova Blooom.

FloraNova Grow is formulated with a 7-4-10 N-P-K analysis. To support rapid vegetative development, this patented and super-concentrated liquid base is heavily fortified with secondary nutrients, delivering 4% Calcium, 1.5% Magnesium, and 2% Sulfur. It also contains a complete built-in micronutrient package containing Boron, Chlorine, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Molybdenum, and Zinc.

FloraNova® Bloom is designed for commercial-scale controlled environment agriculture (CEA) and is highly compatible with hydroponics, coco, soilless mixes, potted plants, and soil. Because the mineral package is kept completely water-soluble, it is engineered for clean operation in continuous liquid-feed programs, day tanks, and fertilizer injector setups with zero clogs.

You should switch from the vegetative base to FloraNova® Bloom at the first sign of flowers or flower initiation. To prevent shocking sensitive cultivars during this transition, General Hydroponics guidelines note that you can run half-strength Grow and half-strength Bloom together to equal a single full-strength solution during the transition week.
