Diamond Nectar® 0-1-1

Diamond Nectar® 0-1-1 is a humic-based supplement designed to help plants get more out of the nutrients already in your feeding program. It can be used from vegetative growth through flowering.

Diamond Nectar® supports nutrient availability and uptake around the root zone. Its humic components help keep essential minerals mobile and ready for plant use.

Add Diamond Nectar® to your nutrient solution alongside your base fertilizer according to label or feed chart directions. Mix thoroughly, then check and adjust pH as needed.

A strong feeding program depends on more than what goes into the reservoir; nutrients also need to remain available to the plant. Diamond Nectar® helps improve nutrient efficiency so your base program can work harder.

Product Role

Diamond Nectar — What It Does

Brand: General Hydroponics
Diamond Nectar® is a plant food that can be fed to the plant from
vegetative to flowering. It is compatible with your favorite base fertilizer and all
types of growing media.
General Hydroponics® Diamond Nectar® 0-1-1
Diamond Nectar® is a humic-based supplement designed to help plants get more out of
the nutrients you’re already feeding. It delivers low–molecular weight humic amounts
that stay mobile in solution and around the root zone, helping keep essential minerals
available and ready for uptake. That means your existing base program can work harder
for the plant from veg through flower—supporting faster growth and greater
yields—without adding complexity to your feed.

Usage Guide

Diamond Nectar — How to Use

● Add Diamond Nectar® to your nutrient solution alongside your base fertilizer and
mix well. Always follow the product label for rates and compatibility.
● Use from vegetative through flowering per your feed chart.

Dosing Rates:

● General feeding (soil / soilless / hydro):
5 mL per gallon of water
● More aggressive use / heavy-feeding programs:
Up to 10 mL per gallon of water, watching overall EC and plant response.
1. Mix your base nutrients into fresh water first.
2. Add Diamond Nectar at 5–10 mL/gal.
3. Stir or circulate thoroughly.
4. Check and adjust pH as needed.
5. Use it on your normal watering schedule, and dial back if you see any signs of
overfeeding (very dark leaves, claw tips, etc.).

Grower Benefits

Support

Frequently Asked Questions

Why should growers avoid using Diamond Nectar above recommended rates?

Like any supplement, overusing it can push total EC levels too high, potentially causing stress to the plants. It is most effective when used within label ranges to support, rather than overwhelm, the plant's nutrient uptake process.

Does Diamond Nectar replace the need for PK boosters?

No. It is an additive that enhances nutrient availability, not a substitute for specific nutrient inputs like phosphorus or potassium. Other targeted supplements can still be used, provided the grower monitors total EC levels.

Does adding Diamond Nectar significantly impact reservoir EC or pH?

While it contributes some dissolved solids and may slightly affect EC and pH, it is not a pH control agent. Growers should add it after the base nutrients are mixed, then check and adjust the pH to the target range.

Can Diamond Nectar be used effectively throughout the entire growth cycle?

Yes. It is compatible from the vegetative stage through flowering. It supports faster growth and higher yield potential during the vegetative stretch and continues to provide value as the plant matures into full bloom.

What are the specific benefits of using low-molecular-weight humic fractions?

Low-molecular-weight humic fractions remain highly mobile in the solution and around the root zone. This allows them to effectively chelate minerals and keep them available for the plant to absorb, which improves overall nutrient uptake efficiency.

What is the warranty of Diamond Nectar®?

General Hydroponics products are warranted to conform to label specifications at the time of purchase and for 1 year from that day. Misuse, mishandling, or storage outside recommended conditions voids warranty.

What is the shelf life of Diamond Nectar®?

Under proper storage, unopened product maintains normal stability per label guidance. For best results, use opened containers within one growing season.

How should I store Diamond Nectar?

Store Diamond Nectar in its original container tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep it out of reach of children and always follow the label and SDS.

Do I still need other supplements if I’m using Diamond Nectar?

Diamond Nectar doesn’t replace calcium, magnesium, PK boosters, or other targeted additives. It supports nutrient availability and efficiency so you can still use other supplements as your program calls for.

How does Diamond Nectar actually benefit the plant?

The low-molecular-weight humic components help keep key nutrients more mobile and available in the root zone, which can improve nutrient uptake efficiency and support faster growth, stronger development, and greater yield potential.

Can I use Diamond Nectar with any base nutrient line?

Yes. Diamond Nectar is compatible with your favorite base fertilizer and all types of growing media. It is meant to layer onto existing programs provided you monitor total EC and follow recommended rates.

What kind of systems and media can Diamond Nectar be used in?

Diamond Nectar works across hydroponics, coco and soilless mixes, and traditional potting media.
