Supplement/Additive

Terpinator®

Terpinator® (0-0-4) is designed specifically to target terpene and oil production. This liquid flowering/fruiting additive provides plants with essential nutrients that help increase the concentration of terpenes in aromatic oils—supporting richer aromas and flavors and helping encourage trichome production. It’s a simple, plug-in supplement that won’t affect pH and layers cleanly onto your existing bloom program.

Terpinator targets the compounds growers care about most in flower and fruit production: aroma, flavor, oil expression, and visual resin development.

Use Terpinator during flower, fruit set, and bloom according to your feeding program and label directions.

Add Terpinator to your already-mixed nutrient solution. Do not mix it directly into undiluted concentrates. Stir or agitate the reservoir thoroughly, then check pH and EC as part of your normal grow-room routine.

Terpinator can be used in hydroponic systems, coco and soilless mixes, and container gardens. Follow label rates, keep total EC within your target range, and continue using through bloom or harvest as directed by your crop program.

Aroma and flavor are major indicators of crop quality. Terpenes are the natural compounds found in plant oils that create many of the distinct smells and flavors associated with flowering and fruiting crops. Trichomes are the small resin-bearing structures where many of those aromatic oils are produced and stored.

By supporting terpene concentration and trichome production, Terpinator helps growers push beyond basic plant nutrition and focus on the finishing qualities that make a harvest stand out: richer aroma, fuller flavor, stronger visual appeal, and more expressive late-bloom character.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will Terpinator change my pH?

Terpinator is formulated so that it will not affect pH when used as directed. You should still check and adjust pH as part of your normal best practices after mixing your full nutrient solution.

Can I mix Terpinator with my current nutrient line and supplements?

Yes. Terpinator is designed to be a plug-in additive that works with your existing base nutrients and bloom supplements. Add it to your mixed nutrient solution at the label rate and keep your total EC within your normal target range.

What kind of systems and media can I use Terpinator in?

Terpinator is a liquid nutrient additive for flowering or fruiting plants and can be used in the same systems where you run your liquid feed program — commonly hydroponics, coco or soilless mixes, and container gardens — so long as you follow label directions and your standard system maintenance.

What is the NPK of Terpinator?

Terpinator has an analysis of 0-0-4, reflecting its role as a potassium-rich terpene and trichome support additive, not a full base nutrient.

How should I store Terpinator and how long does it last?

Terpinator will remain stable for up to 2 years when sealed and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. After opening, it is recommended to use within one year. Do not store it in areas where average temperatures are below 40°F, and do not freeze the product.

What is the shelf life of Terpinator?

Under proper storage, expect full potency for about 2 years. Use opened products within one growing season.

What is the warranty of Terpinator?

General Hydroponics products are warranted to conform to label specifications at the time of purchase and for 1 year from that day. Misuse, mishandling, or storage outside recommended conditions voids warranty.

What is Terpinator® and what is its primary purpose?

Terpinator® is a terpene-enhancing liquid nutrient additive with an N-P-K analysis of 0-0-4. It is specifically formulated to provide the essential nutritional building blocks for plant secondary metabolites, feeding the crop to encourage the increased production of terpenes to help heighten natural aromas and flavors.

Is Terpinator® a base nutrient, and can it be used as a standalone feed?

No, Terpinator® is a potassium-rich additive, not a base nutrient. Because it lacks a complete profile of primary and secondary elements (such as nitrogen and calcium), it must be used in conjunction with a complete base nutrient program (like FloraSeries® or FloraPro™) and cannot be run as a standalone feed.

At what stages of plant growth should Terpinator® be applied, and how often can it be fed?

Terpinator® is designed to be used throughout the plant's entire life cycle. This includes the vegetative growth phase (weeks 1–4), early-to-mid bloom (weeks 1–5), and late bloom/ ripening/flush phases (weeks 5+) up to harvest. It has a neutral pH and is gentle enough to be fed as frequently as every watering, but it must never be used as a foliar spray.

What are the recommended application rates for Terpinator® across the plant’s life cycle?

Under standard programs, the recommended rates per U.S. gallon of water are: Vegetative Growth (Weeks 1–4): Add 5 to 10 mL per gallon. Early–Mid Bloom (Bloom Weeks 1–5): Add 10 to 15 mL per gallon. Late Bloom/Ripen/Flush (Bloom Weeks 5+): Add 25 mL per gallon. ◦

How does Terpinator® interact with mixed nutrient solutions and reservoir pH?

Terpinator® is formulated so that it will not affect the pH of your final working solution when used as directed. When preparing your feed, always add Terpinator® to your mixed nutrient solution—never mix it into undiluted base concentrates. Once fully mixed, you should still check and adjust pH and EC as part of normal best practices.

What growing media and fertigation systems are compatible with Terpinator®?

Terpinator® features universal versatility and is compatible with soil, soilless media, coco coir, and hydroponic setups. It integrates cleanly into standard liquid feed programs and is safe to run through commercial drip and fertigation networks.

What are the storage requirements, shelf life, and warranty terms for Terpinator®?

Unopened Terpinator® is stable for up to 2 years when stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Do not store it below 40 °F and do not freeze the liquid. Once opened, use the product within one year. General Hydroponics warrants the product to conform to label specifications at the time of purchase for 1 year.
