Product Role

FloraBlend — What It Does

Brand: General Hydroponics
FloraBlend® can be used when growing in coco coir, hydroponics or
soil. FloraBlend® can be used in addition to your regular fertilizer program from
germination through ripening.

FloraBlend® 0.5-1-1 is a versatile plant-nutrient blend you can run from germination
through ripening. In early growth, it supports young plants as they establish and begin
steady metabolism; through veg it complements your base feed in soil, coco, or hydro,
and it remains compatible into bloom so you don’t have to swap products mid-run. Use it
in addition to your fertilizer program to keep nutrition flexible across changing plant
needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I build my feed plan with FloraBlend®?

Use GH feed charts for rates and stage timing. Add FloraBlend alongside your base program.

Can I keep a mixed solution for later?

Best practice is to mix fresh, monitor pH and EC, and avoid long holds. pH can drift in stored mixes, so always verify before use.

What pH range should I target?

Follow your GH feed chart and system guidance. Many hydro growers keep solutions near pH 5.5–6.5, but verify for your crop and system.

What is the shelf life of FloraBlend?

Under proper storage, expect full potency for about 2 years. Use opened products within one growing season.

What is the warranty of FloraBlend?

General Hydroponics products are warranted to conform to label specifications at the time of purchase and for 1 year from that day. Misuse, mishandling, or storage outside recommended conditions voids warranty.

How does FloraBlend fit into a nutrient schedule from germination through ripening?

It is designed to be used in addition to your base fertilizer program throughout the entire lifecycle. It supports young plants during germination and continues to provide metabolic support as they move into veg and bloom.

Should a mixed nutrient solution containing FloraBlend be stored for long periods?

No. Best practice is to mix fresh and monitor pH/EC. Stored nutrient solutions, especially those containing organic components, can experience pH drift or microbial activity, so using fresh mixes is industry standard.

Is FloraBlend media-specific?

No, it is highly flexible and suitable for soil, coco coir, and hydroponic systems.

How does FloraBlend affect overfeeding risks?

As a supplement, it increases the total input load. If growers see signs of overfeeding (such as burnt tips), they should dial back the dosage of both the base nutrients and the FloraBlend to stay within the plant's tolerance range.
