Purify Your Environment with Carbon Filters

Many growers rely on filtered intake air to keep their garden atmosphere pure. The GH filters are designed for use mainly in hospitals, and so they eliminate many airborne pathogens that interfere with plants. Our filters are packed with activated carbon. The carbon particle has a very small diameter, with a very large surface area. The carbon looks like black powdery ash, and while some of our competitors use carbon that comes from burned coco coir, our raw materials are mined ore, to ensure their quality.

To use one, hook the filter up to an inline fan that can pass the air through the pores of the filter. As the contaminated air flows over the activated carbon, the carbon grabs the unwanted pathogens. Check out this wikipedia link for the scientific download on how carbon works.[LINK TK]

It is essential to use the right size fan and filter for your room. Choose a fan that will exchange all the air in your room at least eight to ten times per hour, and then select the filter with matching CFM's (cubic ft per minute) and the corresponding flange size. They can be quite heavy, anticipate that when designing their placement.
